"As my 20-year term life insurance policy was about to expire, I received a letter from State Farm telling me to call the Chuck Smith branch if I did not want my policy to become an "annual renewable term policy with" with a 9x increase in annual premiums. I have called their office multiple times and left messages to fully cancel this policy at the conclusion of the 20-year term (which should have happened automatically anyway) and have not yet received a call back. Highly unprofessional behavior and, given the substantial increase in premium I'm facing if they don't call me back, unethical as well."
